Casio launches FX-9860GSLIM graphical calculator with USB connectivity
Casio has updated the humble calculator, with the FX-9860GSLIM now offering USB connectivity and storage for additional programs.
The clamshell-styled calculator is designed for use in advanced level studies, with all the academic functions you would expect and a few you might not, including a back light function, instant graphing (rather than pixel-by-pixel plotting) and 1.5MB of Flash ROM, which allows you to store bespoke programs and additional applications.
There’s also PC-Link software and USB connectivity, an on-board function manual and a ‘Natural Display’ expression entry option, which shows maths exactly as it appears in textbooks. Available in the coming weeks, price to be confirmed.
