NME launches NME Mobile portal

Once, it was a mad dash to the newsagents on a Wednesday, then the website arrived to save us from leaving our desks. And now NME Mobile means music news on the train or in the pub.

Available on any wap-enabled mobile phone, you can access the site by texting the word NME to 63456. That gives you access to live news updates, micro-sites on the music festivals, rock photography, wallpapers and other downloads.

That’s presuming you don’t have full web access on your phone – then you can just go to the website.
