Oregon Scientific BA900 Crystal – predict the weather
Previewed back in June, Oregon Scientific has finally launched its BA900 Crystal Weather Station in the UK – the world’s first weather station with laser engraved 3D icons, showing the weather for the next 24 hours.
The weather station is made in a crystalline block with a black base unit and 3D icons, which are illuminated by coloured lights showing tomorrow’s weather today as well as the current temperature. Not only that, it doubles up as a radio controlled clock, which is 100 per cent accurate by synchronising with the official atomic clock. Swapping between time and weather is as simple as a wave of the hand – with motion sensor technology also packed in.
Expect it from September, priced at £129.99.
