Porn stars need social networks too…

Web start-up Zivity is the discreet, plain-brown-wrapped new idea for a social networking site for those who ‘perform’ within the adult entertainment world.

Zivity has secured one million dollars of lovely venture cash to start itself up, promising to offer girls a safe place to, er, post up photos of themselves not wearing much. That’s definitely what the internet needs more of.

The photos are all subject to a vote, then the best user-submitted shots are published on the site, with the girls getting “royalties” some way or another from their efforts. So will it be the “Facebook of porn” or just yet another disappointing bloody collection or ‘arty’ rubbish that’s not much use when you’ve got the house to yourself for ten minutes and need to work fast?
