Remote controlled car goes for 200mph record
Nic Case is a remote controlled car enthusiast. That’s quite a specialist niche to begin with, but Nic’s further marginalising himself from normal society by building a car that’s gunning for the RC land speed record.
Currently standing at a mere 134.4mph, Nic’s aiming to top 200mph with his X2 Speed Run Car.
Nic’s also going all interactive, updating the world, or at least the bits of the world that care, on his progress on his blog. Some of the test movies are very impressive, as are the efforts of the other RC “scene” people he writes about.
Good luck, Nic. Here’s hoping no one stands on your car.
