20th Century Fox signs up to Xbox Live – Family Guy the first 'fruit'
The bad news is the Xbox Live Video Marketplace download service isn’t launching for another few months here in the UK, but the good news is… it’ll have 20th Century Fox stuff on it when it arrives.
Starting today, Americans, who’ve been buying HD films and TV via Xbox Live since last November, can download episodes from the first two seasons of Family Guy, with the recent FG movie also up for purchase.
The price? A rather unreasonable 160 Microsoft Points each, which comes to around a quid. A bit expensive if you plan on watching a whole series – but with us UK punters expected to pay over 200 Points to download bloody Robbie Williams videos, it’s certainly a better deal than we’re used to.
