BenQ show off DSC T800 slim eight megapixel digital camera
BenQ has unveiled what it claims to be the slimmest eight megapixel camera with touchscreen, measuring 14.9mm at its thinnest part, and offering a three-inch LCD screen.
Other features include picture resolution up to 3,264 x 2,448 pixels, a 3x optical zoom and 4x digital view, ISO from 100 to 6,400, white balance settings, flash with red-eye reduction, self-timer, face tracking, PENTAX lenses, MPEG4 movie mode at 640×480 up to 30fps, and 10MB internal storage.
Additionally, thanks to the touchscreen, it’s possible to easily add writing or doodles to photographs, right on the camera, without messing with fiddly cursor buttons or having to download to a PC first. There’s nothing like making digital graffiti easier.
It’s available in “Vixen Red” or “Midnight Black” body colours, the body being constructed from smooth stainless steel.
The T800 will be available in early October, price to be confirmed.
