Meizu M7 specifications: maybe an iTouch challenger
Meizu has unveiled some specification for its new M7 PMP, which on the surface looks like it could be a decent, and cheaper, challenger to Apple’s new iPod Touch.
Interestingly, though, it has a smaller 2.81-inch touch screen, offering 480×288 pixels native resolution, which is a 15:9 aspect ratio – one I’ve not come across before, when 16:9 or 16:10 are more common. It will display 16.6 million colours, though, and plays H.264 movies at 720×480 pixels (again, 15:9 aspect ratio).
It also has TV output, and is available in two, four, and eight gigabyte capacities, costing €70, €80, and €110 respectively. Exact availability to be confirmed.
