Motorola unveils seven 'everyday communication' W-series handsets
The Special Edition RAZR2 might be eye-catching, but for many people, a no-nonsense phone for calling and texting is all that’s required. Something like this pile of W-series handsets unveiled by Motorola.
The W377 clamshell has an integrated FM radio, MP3 ringtones, integrated VGA camera, Bluetooth, pre-loaded games and all the usual calendar and alarm functions. The candybar W206 and W213 offer Motorola’s CrystalTalk Technology, a long battery life, large phonebook, MP3 ringtones and WAP, with the W213 adding an FM radio.
The W175 and Motorola W180 with FM radio are optimised for business, with CrystalTalk Technology, a long battery life, enhanced SMS and a large phonebook. The W156 and W160 also said to be easy to use, offering an intuitive interface and large display, as well as CrystalTalk and an FM radio on the W160.
All will be budget-priced, expect them in the next few weeks.
