Postdata's G100 WiMAX gaming portable
It’s basically a marginally redesigned version of the iRiver G10. But with a very lovely 4″ touchsceen LCD display and WiMAX for Americans, the G100 could well find itself bulking out a good number of coat pockets this winter.
That screen’s resolution is an impressive 800 x 480, it has the oomph to play MPEG4, H.264 and WMV9 movie files, plus it’s very pleased to support everyone’s favourite piracy format DivX. It comes with a generous 6GB of built-in memory, uses USB 2.0 for dumping illegal things on it, has MiniSD support for dumping yet more illegal things on it and has a normal 3.5mm headphone socket so you’re not stuck using something proprietary.
It is actually quite exciting! Although god knows what sort of awful mobile games you might end up playing on the thing.
