Virgin Media brings big match atmosphere to your PC screen
You can sign up to numerous TV football packages right now, but can you ever replicate the pre-match atmosphere at home? Virgin Media claims you can from its newly-launched sports portal.
it doesn’t sell you a cheap pie for £2 or water down your lager, but it does offer ‘near live’ content on Saturdays straight from the grounds via a symmetrical 1024Kbps satellite broadband internet connection from M3U.com.
Content includes interviews, commentary, fans’ views, comedy from Terry Alderton and other fan-related footage. The content is also archived on the site so it can be streamed for viewing at anytime.
