Buffalo first to market with portable 320GB hard drive
Remember when hard drives were counted in terms of a Megabyte rather than a Gigabyte? it wasn’t that long ago – and now that GB count has jumped up even further on portable drives with the advent of the latest Buffalo MiniStation TurboUSB 5400rpm drive.
Available from December, it’s the first portable drive with 320GB capacity. It also features Buffalo’s TurboUSB technology to speed up file transfer rates and performance (64 per cent faster in fact), USB 2.0 connectivity, shock absorbency, 256bit AES Encryption technology and auto back-up.
Compatible with all Windows systems and all Mac OS X (including Leopard), it retails for £155.
