I had a play with the Harman Kardon GPS-500 earlier in the year and was quite impressed. So this newly-launched GPS-810 should be worth a look.

The new GPS-810 is the company’s new top-end unit. It comes with a wireless rotary controller for in-car operation, a dual built-in microphones, a noise-cancellation system for best audio quality and a wireless FM transmitter that can transmit voice commands and phone calls to your car’s speaker. There’s also a 4-inch screen, 2GB of internal memory, media player and all the GPS functionality you would expect, including real-time traffic info.

In the US, it will sell for $600 from next month. No news of a UK price or launch as yet.
