Sony launching Christmas-themed Rolly music player… in Japan
Us Brits may have viewed Sony’s MP3 players with suspicion ever since the days when they used THE most user-unfriendly system for transferring your tunes on. Thankfully, those days are far behind Sony now, and the company’s recently-announced Rolly player looks to have the innovation to tempt us away from our iPod Nanos.
Sadly, it’s not on sale here yet, but Japanese gadgeteers are already getting a special Christmas-themed version. It’s called, well, Christmas Rolly, and it comes preloaded with all manner of festive songs – including White Christmas and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.
Aren’t there any Japanese-language Christmas classics? Anyway, the Christmas Rolly will cost 41,800 Yen (about £187) when it goes on sale just before Christmas.
