ThinkGeek solves your lost mobile phone worries, with the SIM card back-up machine
Groups are springing up across Facebook asking for friends’ phone numbers faster than you exit the site when your boss walks past – all because people foolishly lose all their contacts’ details when they lose their phones on a boozy night out. You know what I’m talking about.
Thankfully this device will help cleanse Facebook of all those ubiquitous groups, courtesy of those brain-champs, ThinkGeek. It backs up and restores all your contacts’ details from your SIM, with the 16KB of internal data, that means 500 different phone numbers. It’s password lockable, and supports data input from more than one SIM card, meaning numbers can be transferred from one SIM to another.
If everyone doesn’t rush out and buy this as soon as their next pay day arrives, we’ll all regret it. I promise. Phone numbers preserved for future posterity? It costs just $14.99, apparently.
