Dell reveals the XPS M1730 Warcraft edition laptop
It’s the PC game that saved PC gaming, now World of Warcraft is adding quite a significant amount of money to Dell’s ‘bottom line’.
Two new ludicrously expensive WoW-badged XPS laptops have been announced by the PC flogger, coming in either Horde or Alliance designs to match your particular in-game allegiances.
They have two things in common with the rest of Dell’s XPS range – they’re amazingly expensive and rather powerful. Coming in at a starting price of $4,499, the base units boast a 17″ widescreen display, a decent Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive.
If you want a MAXIMUM POWER machine with the top spec and biggest everything – and a boast-worthy 128GB solid state hard drive RAID – expect to shell out an enormous $8000.
Do people who play Warcraft have enough spare time to hold down jobs that earn that kind of money?
