But that’s not what a bunch of crazy South Korean scientists had in mind when inventing the luminous feline. Apparently, their mucking about in the laboratory will come in dead useful, one future day, for helping cure genetic diseases in humans. Should, that is, humans develop a genetic disease about glowing in the dark.
Plus, of course, it’s really funny and will generate massive traffic on the cat-obsessed internet.
