Palm unlocks Treo 500v – becomes Treo 500

Vodafone has had an exclusive on the Palm 500v since October, but that’s about to end – and the device is being re-introduced in unlocked form as the Treo 500.
It’s the same specification, with the Windows Mobile 6 operating system, a full keyboard, large screen, video streaming and multi-messaging capability, with IM, SMS, email and of course, the phone.
It will be available unlocked across Europe from January, no details as yet on price.
