Alcatel launches OT-E227 mobile handset for under £10

Entry-level mobile phones just get cheaper, with Alcatel offering the OT-E227 clamshell for just £9.99.
For your money, you get a choice of three colours, glossy black, metallic rosé and fuchsia (this season’s must-have colour says Alcatel) with star print, along with a 1.5-inch TFT screen, 10 hours of talk time, LED notification of incoming calls/texts and the usual games, calculator, clock/alarm and choice of ringtones.
OK, it’s not got the killer features, but at £9.99, what do you expect? The OT-E227 is available exclusively from Orange.
