Casemate launches diamond'n'gold iPhone case
Not content with flaunting your iPhone to all and sundry to show how zeitgeisty you are? How about sticking it inside a case made from 18K gold with 42 diamonds embedded in it? You’ll be the toast of Shoreditch. Including the local muggers.
Said case is the Case-mate Diamond Case, which has been unveiled at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco. The firm is giving one away at the show, and selling a limited quantity on its website – although be warned, you’ll have to shell out $20,000 for the privilege of owning one.
Thankfully, the company is also launching a less pricey range of Carbon Fiber Cases, including an $89.99 iPhone one, as well as similar ones for the iPod Touch, iPod Classic and various MacBook laptops. Good news for luxury-craving Apple-heads.
