ASUS isn’t just about the Eee PC, as many people have been led to believe recently. They’ve proved that today, by announcing a new mini desktop PC, alongside a 24” HD LCD monitor. From the Eee’s 7” to 24”, that’s a good jump.

Whilst the rumoured next-gen Eee PC wasn’t announced, these two launches are key additions to the well-established company’s portfolio, proving they have more than bells, whistles and bitesize keyboards to wow their customers with.

The Nova P22 mini desktop was first launched in Taiwan in November, but will be swinging USA-way in late January for $799. Taking up just 122 cubic inches of space, it contains an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 802.11n connectivity, integrated speakers and Dolby Digital Live, it’ll perform superbly when coupled with the MK241 monitor.

The massive 24” LCD monitor has native HDMI support (giving users resolutions up to 1920×1200), and integrated webcam, microphone and speakers. 30% more colours will be displayed, with ASUS’ Colour-Rich Technology.
