LG launches latest version of Viewty handset in dark silver

LG claims it has shifted 550,000 of the original black Viewty handset – reason enough to launch a new version, this time in what’s described as a ‘dark silver’.

LG will begin shipping its latest Viewty in addition to the current black edition. Aside from the colour, it’s not radically different – a re-designed jog wheel is the only other difference. Which means it still includes a 5MP camera, 3-inch touchscreen, 120 frames-per-second video camera, HSDPA, 170MB of internal memory, media player, TV-out and MicroSD connectivity.

Expect it from the end of January 2008.
