Mario Kart Go – the plumber does Scalextric-style racing
Share
Old-style slot racing thrills with modern-day console characters – that’s what you get with Mario Kart Go.
Yes, Nintendo’s top brass is moonlighting outside the TV and onto the living room floor in a Scalextric-style racing game, with Mario and Wario battling it out on over 20ft of looping, swooping, curving, swerving race track, controlled by your hand a trigger control.
Is it fun? How can it not be? Available online, you can pick up the set for £49.95.

Up to now the floor was a safe place since the threat came from the constantly hovering chopers in the air. Now I have to beware that too.
