Mirai intros two HD-capable LCD TVs
Mirai has announced the availability of two new high definition-friendly LCD TVs, available in 32 and 42 inch sizes.
The 42-inch DTL-742E6000 is able to deliver a full 1080p high definition experience, and features an integrated digital tuner, dual HDMI, plus 3D comb filters, ChroMAX circuitry and Faroudja technology which claim to give a smoother picture.
The 32-inch DTL-832E600 is HD ready, so it can handle but not display a full 1080p signal. It, too, has an integrated digital TV tuner, has a dynamic contrast ratio of 6,000:1, 6.5ms response time, single HDMI and VGA input, and integrated 10 watt speaker.
While these don’t appear to be the most technologically advanced TVs of their kind, they do offer decent value. The 42″ retails at around £740 the 32″ at around £360, and they’re both capable of handling Freeview, Sky HD, and high definition gaming consoles. They’re available now.
