WebEx PCNow extends remote access to and from the Mac
WebEx has announced that the PCNow remote-access service is now available for Mac users.
This cross-platform support means PCNow users can make just about any computer connection (PC-to-PC, PC-to-Mac, Mac-to-PC and Mac-to-Mac), as well as being able to access your computer via mobile phone – including the iPhone. Why would you want to do that? Well, if all your files are on a PC at home or work, you just might need it when you’re elsewhere.
PCNow offers a secure connection via any Internet connection to do desktop searches, find contacts, use the calendar, work on documents and send and receive email. You can even do remote webcam streaming – watching and listening from your remote computer. It’s available today for £5.55 per month. Or if you happen to be a Mac user, you can get a free 30-day trial.
