Man puts iPhone interface on lipstick-sized gadget. Why? Er…
No, I won’t be too cynical about this: the iStick is a concept product after all, so isn’t meant to conform to the standard ‘why would I buy this?’ test.
Anyway, it’s a lipstick-sized device that has a full replication of Apple’s iPhone interface. Built-in Wi-Fi lets you browse the iTunes Store too, although as you might guess, it’s not super-hot for watching videos or surfing the Web.
However, all four surfaces are touchscreens, which is the most intriguing part, letting the UI wrap around the iStick. Could we see four-touchscreen iPod Shuffles sometime soon? Perhaps Apple should give designer Alexei Mikhailov a call…
