MWC 2008: Sony Ericsson adds to Cyber-shot range with C702 and C902
Sony Ericsson is getting in early with its new handsets launches at the Mobile World Congress, kicking off with two new Cyber-shot phones the C702 and C902.
The HSDPA C702 packs in a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, 2x digital zoom, face detection and red eye reduction. It’s also splash and dust resistant and designed for single-handed use, just in case you see that minor celebrity in your local Tesco. It also has built-in GPS for location-based imaging and Google Maps for Mobile for finding your way home.
The C902 Cyber-shot is also a HSDPA handset with a 5 megapixel camera and unique slide-out lens cover so you’re ready to go straight away. There’s also face detection, auto focus, 2.5x digital zoom and Photo Flash for better quality pictures even in low-light conditions. Other features include x-Pict story to add music and transitions to your gallery of photos, 160MB built-in memory
The C702 Cyber-shot will be available in selected markets in Speed Black or Cyan Blue from mid-2008. The C902 will come in Swift Black or Luscious Red at the same time.
