Sony launches E-series – new range of USB stick MP3 players in Japan
A day after Apple cut the price of its shuffle, Sony has unveiled its latest no-nonsense media players in Japan – the E-series.
The selling point here is colour – if your tastes change, you can change the body colour of the player just by snapping a new one on. Other than that, this is a music player with USB connectivity, drag and drop file transfer, ATRAC/MP3/WMA/AAC compatibility, mini screen and an FM radio also on board.
Capacities range from 1GB to 4GB. No news on a price as yet – or indeed, a European launch.
