Canon launches the 'optically powerful' Digital IXUS 970 IS camera
Canon has introduced the Digital IXUS 970 IS, claimed to be the most optically powerful Digital IXUS to date – with 5x optical zoom.
This 10MP model also packs in enhanced Image Stabiliser (IS) technology, a new four-group lens configuration technology to improve image quality, Motion Detection to cut down on the blur, Face Detection (for your people shots), Red Eye Correction, a high-resolution 2.5-inch PureColour II LCD screen and a DIGIC III image processor with Noise Reduction Technology.
It’s available from late March 2008, priced at £299.
