LG launches world's first 10,000:1 monitor in the UK – the L197WH

LG has launched the 19-inch L197WH monitor in the UK, the first to have a 10,000:1 Digital Fine Contrast ratio (DFC). According to LG, that means ‘the greatest clarity available on a PC monitor today’.

Features for the glossy black screen include the company’s F-Engine picture-enhancing chipset, a movie mode for watching your HD-based movies at the full contrast ratio, 2ms response time, a 170-degree viewing angle and a dual hinge and height adjustment.

No specific news on price, just that it will be ‘affordable’.
