Samsung launches VM-DX10 DVD camcorder
I thought we’d seen the back of the DVD camcorder with the growth of the flash card capacity. Obviously not – Samsung has a new one on the market in the form of the VM-DX10.
Newly-launched in Korea, this bulky-looking camcorder will record to a standard recordable DVD disc, but just to muddy the waters, also has support for SD and SDHC cards – but only for capturing your stills. Other features include a 26x optical zoom, wide mode video recording, a 2.7-inch touchscreen control panel and a choice of traditional grey and black or less obvious grey and white.
No news of a Euro launch or price as yet.
