Sanyo intros PLC-XW60 ultra-portable projector
Business projectors tend to be rather clunky affairs when compared to their home cinema equivalents, but Sanyo has announced the ultra-portable PLC-XW60, a corporate-focused XGA LCD projector weighing in at just 3.6 lbs and small enough to carry in one hand.
It’s still very much a business affair, and offers automatic input signal detection, adjustable colour mode for projecting onto different coloured surfaces, keystone correction, and easy-off function.
It has a native resolution of 1,024 x 768 with 4:3 aspect ratio, 2,000 lumens brightness, 1W mono speaker, two PC inputs, audio in and out, and throw of 100 inch image from just 9 to 11 feet.
Available in the US from April, priced $795. UK availability and pricing to be confirmed.
