Sony Ericsson Xperia X1- delayed until 2009?

sony-x1-delay.jpgWe all got excited over the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 at the recent MWC show and hoped to see it mid-to-late 2008. That’s now looking unlikely.

According to a schedule of dates showing on the Sony Ericsson website, the date has now shifted to February 10th 2009 – that’s exactly a year after its launch. Is it an error? Or are we really going to wait all that time? And isn’t a year a long time in mobile phone technology? I’m guessing our pulse will have raced at least 10 times before the new release date.

All will no doubt become clearer in the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out our video review, just so you know it really does exist.
