ITV launches range of programmes on UK iTunes Store
Following the BBC a couple of months behind, ITV has announced that a selection of its classic, award-winning programmes will be available to download from Apple’s iTunes Store.
Over 260 hours’ worth of programming is available from the word go, including “Lewis” and “Cold Feet”, the award-winning classic “Brideshead Revisited”, ITV drama “Goodnight Mr Tom” and Gerry Anderson’s vintage classic “Captain Scarlet”. Additional programming will follow throughout the year, including “Inspector Morse”, “The Prisoner, “The Saint” and the adaptations of Jane Austen’s “Northanger Abbey” and “Emma”.
Each show costs a minimum of £1.89, with complete series also available to purchase.
As with other terrestrial broadcasters, ITV continues to expand the number of ways viewers can access its TV shows.
