Apple release new iMacs one day earlier than expected, those crazy kids
So, it turns out that Monday was the magic day after all. Full of surprises these Apple folk.
This picture may not look any different to you but this is the brand new iMac as released this very day, and like a mouse it was too. Jobs must have found a little time to do it in between polishing his 100-dollar bill collection and nipping down the shops for couple of pints of gold top.
Nine months on, they’ve kept the prices the same but squeezed in double the RAM, added around 0.4GHz to the processors and if you go for the top model you can bag yourself a 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS instead of that 256MB Radeon rubbish they usually peddle.
