YouTube Hits: Latest Sony advert, 'Foam City'
Share
Last week we speculated on what the next advert for Sony would look like, with a video set in London being our top pick.
Sadly, Sony didn’t choose the indie London video maker to direct their latest campaign for their Handycam and Cybershot ranges, instead sticking with their tried and tested agency which created the three previous advertisements. This last one, ‘Foam City’, required 16 hours of filming in the centre of Miami, which was filled with 460 million litres of foam, enough to fill an Olympic swimming pool in 24 seconds, reportedly. Check it out above, or keep your eyes peeled on British telly, where it’ll debut on the 1st of May.

The advert section @ song seem to have excellent tastes in music, can anyone link me to the bouncy balls YouTube vid, or tell me the song they had?
I’m from the SFX Company that made the foam. It’s so cool now to see the first 60 second ad. The filming was done over 5 days in downtown Miami and was very hard work.
