dell-mini-inspiron.jpgDetails might be vague, but at least we have an image of Dell’s entry into the budget PC market – which is being dubbed the mini-Inspiron.

According to Engadget, this sub-$500 laptop should offer a choice of Windows XP home of Ubuntu Linux, 8-in-1 card reader, integrated webcam, direct media playback buttons and various wireless access options.

More details (and possibly an official launch) next week. We’re slightly excited.
