Orange and Nokia get together for music, gaming, mapping, and ads
Nokia continues to form strategic partnerships with other companies as it seeks to push out its mobile services. The latest alliance is a three-year deal with Orange, which will see ten Nokia handsets added to the Orange Signature range, plus the launch of a range of integrated multimedia services.
Customers will gain access to the Orange Music Store, Orange and NGage games, and Nokia Maps, plus location-based services. There’s also some form of advertising partnership between the two companies.
“Orange believes that Nokia’s devices and Ovi platform will make a powerful environment for the provision of a joint range of services,” said Georges Penalver, EVP of Orange’s Group Strategic Marketing.
