Sonus Faber intros Cremona Auditor Elipsa compact, stylish, expensive speakers
Italian luxury loudspeaker manufacturer Sonus Faber has introduced its Cremona Auditor Elipsa compact speaker aimed at the discerning (rich) audiophile.
Designed to be wall mountable, but equally at home on the floor or bookshelf, the Cremona Auditor Elipsa — as its name suggests — has an elliptical shape, and features a two-way driver configuration with a 25mm ring-radiator tweeter and 150mm wood fibre cone mid/bass driver, plus a Symmetric Drive Motor System.
The speaker is designed to be versatile, fitting in equally well in stereo and multichannel set-ups. It can handle 40W-150W of power, and is finished in natural maple or light graphite, coated in medium-gloss “ecologically sensitive” lacquer.
Now prepare yourself for the price tag — £2,690 per pair.
