Asus goes high-end with M70 multimedia laptop
Asus isn’t only doing cheap and cheerful, it has high-end on offer too with the M7 laptop.
Packing a hefty 1TB of storage (enough for 358 movies), the M70 also offers a 17-inch light-sensitive high definition (1920 x 1280) display, four built-in Altec Lansing speakers, a sub-woofer, a Blu-ray combo drive, an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor, ATI HD3650 graphics with 1GB VRAM and 4GB of DDR2 memory.
There’s also a dual mode multimedia touchpad that doubles as a mouse-pad and control panel, Windows Vista Ultimate, Wi-Fi, TV tuner, webcam and Bluetooth. A copy of Batman Begins is also thrown in to get your Blu-Ray viewing started. No news of a price as yet – the cost of a few Eee PCs at least.
