Analogue rules supreme in this radio with sliding tuning control
Share
Mikael Silvanto has created an interesting analogue radio featuring a horizontal bar along which the speaker slides in order to set the radio frequency.
It’s not going to win any prizes for offering digital radio, and it probably doesn’t pump out a huge wattage from that modestly-sized speaker, either, but its design is sure to appeal to some.
As far as I’m aware, the design is not in production. By the time it is, we may be without analogue radio altogether.
