Cantor eDeck – casino-based fun/debt in your pocket
Well, back in 2005 I wrote my first post for Tech Digest. And several thousand articles later, this one is my last – the rather low key Cantor eDeck.
And it’s a strange beast. On the face of it, this is a pocket casino, offering roulette, blackjack, baccarat, video poker and other popular casino games, plus a few variations courtesy of Cantor. But that’s not all. The device is wireless, so you can hook up online and splash the cash should you feel lucky in a quiet moment. Boredom and betting? Sounds a lethal combination to me. Although not as lethal as leaving it in the pub or on the train.
Still in the testing phase, so your pay cheque is safe for now, expect to see it getting the big push before the year is out.

The device is quite cute and it’s not beastly at all. I bought one last month and I play every day on it.
