HANNSpree launches HT11 19-inch HD ready digital TV
HANNSpree has announced its HT11 19-inch HD ready digital TV, promoting it as an ideal second telly for the bedroom, kitchen, or study.
The 19-inch screen size coupled with 170 degree viewing angle offers a decent solution when it can be hard to place a TV in a smaller room.
It’s HD ready, and while its 1,280 x 1,024 resolution isn’t going to display full 1080p if connected to a Blu-ray player, at this size that doesn’t really matter.
It has two tuners, though unfortunately only one of them is digital (Freeview), so come 2012 (or earlier, if you live in a region switching off analogue sooner) you’ll be left with just one usable tuner. However, as there’s no PVR or any other fancy stuff built in, that’s not really a problem.
The TV has an HDMI input for connecting up other high definition equipment, VGA input for computer use, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, and 300cd/m2 of brightness.
