Nikon D700 DSLR gets an official launch

For more serious snappers, Nikon has officially lanched the D700 DSLR.
Features are plentiful and include a 12MP CMOS sensor, 3-inch live display, 51-point autofocus (with 3D tracking), scene recognition, active dust reduction, an ISO up to 6400, continuous shooting up to 8fps, HDMI output and next-gen UDMA Compact Flash card compatibility.
All of which will set you back around £2,000 when it hits the shelves around August.
