Rumour: New MacBook range to get aluminium shells and glass trackpads

According to the latest Apple rumour (and no, it’s not about iPhones, but it’s strangely related) the next incarnation of MacBook notebooks could feature a MacBook Air-esque seamless aluminium case, and be fitted with a multi-touch glass trackpad.
It wouldn’t be surprising if the entry-level notebooks caught up in looks and functionality with the MacBook Pro and Air range, though it’s not immediately clear what purpose a including a glass trackpad would serve, other than making it seem like you’ve a mini iPhone interface below the keyboard.
These MacBooks could hit stores from late September onwards.
