LG announces second touchscreen Prada phone with real keyboard
As rumoured a couple of months ago, LG and Prada have teamed up to launch a successor to the original Prada phone that launched last year.
At first glance, the new Prada phone looks very similar to the first, but it now sports a thin slide-out silver metallic keyboard and a beefy 5-megapixel camera (up from two) with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens.
Connectivity is also good, with 7.2Mbps HSDPA and Wi-Fi, and there’s a full HTML web browser and video calling capability.
Full specifications should be available closer to release, which will be some time in the fourth quarter of this year. Starting at €600 (£475), with networks and deals to be confirmed.
If the badge on your phone is as important as the feature set, the second edition Prada could be just what you’re looking for. Then again, if you’re just after touchscreen goodness, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives.

that looks sexy.
if nothing else at least the iphone has made other manufacturers make more useful, more sexy, less gash internet phones.
Yep, LG has been making some pretty nifty looking phones recently. Not personally bothered by the collaboration with Prada, but still looks good.
