I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
Don’t want to sound like too much of a geek, but this guy makes a mistake in his second example. In the left hand, most significant digit column, he says “No 22’s”. Surely he meant “No 16’s”. It is unfortunately, a sad indictment on the state of US education, and this from some kind of Mathlete !
