Now Blu-ray is going 3D
There has been awful lot written about 3DTV over the last year or so. You may remember that Sky has been hyping the new format promising that it will have the same kind of imp0acta as HDTV and that the BBC has been experimenting with the format.
Well the 3D format received a major shot in the arm today with the news that the Blu-Ray Disc Association is backing the format.

More importantly Nokia failed to realise that the only way it could get smart kids to buy into a new and innovative service is that it needed to deliver a ground breaking, uber cool, feature-packed handset – not the rather square and under specified 5800. Surely Nokia should have made an ultra desirable handset first, then got the early adopters raving about the service. This then would have given Comes With Music momentum.
Google deal turns Coolerbooks into World's largest ebookstore
Its sudden massive growth has been sparked by a deal with Google that allows COOLERBOOKS.com is to include over 1 million public domain books (close to half a million outside the US) from Google Books in its online library. All the books are of course free and compatible with the COOL-ER readers.
Nokia debuts N97 Mini smartphone
Big day for Nokia today as it entertains a host of journos, analysts, bloggers and hangers on at this year's Nokia World conference. And straight off it has announced today's big story the mini version of its Nokia N97 top-end smartphone.
