LG's pocket sized LED projector, the HS200
Mostly it was new monitors like the W86 at LG’s press event yesterday, but one gadget that did distract me from all the flat screens was this cute looking pocket-sized LED projector. Dubbed the HS200, it’s an 800 x 600 pixel resolution DLP projector that can project an image up to 120inches across. It weighs just 800g and is expected to retail for £499 when it goes on sale later this month.
Sygic unveils Mobile Maps for Android OS
Sygic has launched Mobile Maps, a turn-by-turn voice guided navigation software for phones running Google's Android operating system.
Mobile Maps supports 44 countries across Europe including the United Kingdom and Ireland – the application can be purchased directly from the Sygic online store and is priced at €79.99 for all European customers. Further apps are available with maps of North America, Australia and New Zealand.

But teleporting? Well the fridge's designer, a Thai student called Dulyawat Wongnawa reckons 'In the next 90 years, we will see a lot of technologies that today we think are completely impossible. Even though my teleportation concept might sound far-fetched, scientists have already succeeded in teleporting small particles such as photons. So over the next 90 years, this technology will have time to develop and become part of our everyday lives.'
LG's top-end W86 LED monitors
The monitors include smart controls, which include things like auto brightness, which works out what the ambient lighting is in a room and adjusts the brightness control, and there's a fun key that offers photo effects such as monochrome and sepia.

The new model packs 32 Gigabytes of internal memory – which can be supplemented by SD/DDHC cards, features a 1/2.33-inch 10.3-megapixel CMOS sensor with Bayer Array RGB Color Filter, is capable of delivering nine-megapixel still images and can output video of 1920 x 1080 Full HD.

LG's visual department held a launch the UK today and paraded a pair of new LCD monitors, a new LCD 1080p LCD TV, an LCD projector and a new high-end LCD monitor.

The Zeppelin is back! B&W delivers the Zeppelin Mini
The key differences between the new model and its larger forbear are an updated docking arm, the addition of USB connectivity which apparently allows the Zeppelin Mini to bypass the analogue output stage of any iPod, and access its purer digital output. It also adds the ability to stream music direct from your PC or Mac.
