Spotify previews app for S60/ Nokia N series phones
Today has been a busy one for the folks at Spotify. This morning they delivered the Spotify app for the iPhone and Google Android phones. Now they have given us a sneak preview of Spotify for the other major smartphone operating system – Series 60 as used by Nokia.
Like the iPhone and Android apps it looks pretty intuitive an easy to use. You can sync playlists between the phone and the PC on the fly and create Spotify playlists offline which you can listen to as the music is downloaded to the handset.
However Nokia phone owners might have to wait for a few months before they access to the service.
In a blog post this morning spokesperson Andres Sehr said”You’ve had a few hours to play around with our iPhone and Android apps but we didn’t want to leave out all those people who have a phone that runs the S60 mobile platform. So here is a first look at a demo of the Spotify running on S60 which is currently in development”.
Let’s hope it isn’t too long.
Btw Nokia owners if you can’t wait then you can always try this.
